On my TE100-P1U, the 3 LEDs remain green permanently, even when I disconnect the LAN or USB cables. And I cannot connect to it anymore, nor with the initial IP address neither with the one I set, nor with the PS-Utility, neither with the Web interface. Is this an indication of an hardware problem ?
What could I do to determine what's happening ?
Thanks,
Vincent

- Note: as defined by the TrendNet web site, it is a Version 2.0 (the one with the 3 LEDs) and not the version 2.1/2.2 as shown in the picture in this site...

- Unfortunately, there is no reset button on it... I left it 5 days disconnected from the power, USB and LAN and then reconnected it... Again the 3 green LEDs show all green...
Unplug it over night. try it again tomorrow. If it still shows all green its fried. It there a reset button anywhere on it? Try holding it down(if there is) while plugging it in. Keep the reset depressed for 30 seconds or so. Otherwise no bueno.
Let me know what happens.
Good Luck,
Tim

The utilities that came with the print server install OK, but get an error when attempting to connect to the print server. Same issue - driver loads & finds print server (TE100-P1U) fine, sets IP address (& I can ping p/s ok) but Add Printer in Vista reports
"Windows cannot connect to the printer. Make sure that you have typed the name correctly, and that the printer is connected to the network."
then returns to the Add Printer window, listing U1 on PS-xxxxxx \\ps-xxxxxx\U1 as (only) network printer to select.
Running Vista Home Premium sp1.
The PC I'm doing the setup from is connected wireless to a Linksys wireless router; printer is hard-wired to 100Bt port on this router.

When I connect HP deskjet models 3520 or 3650 to the unit's USB port, power up the printer, and then power up the device the USB light blinks very briefly then goes out and stays out. This happens consistently, even after the unit has been powered off for hours before trying again. Is it fried?
