Audio Driver for Acer Aspire 5710z

I've accidentally uninstalled the REALTEK audio driver already installed in my laptop. I've tried to download several drivers online, but it doesn't seem to work. I can't find the recovery cd for it as well.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks
Carina

Realtek download page. There is a search option for audio part number.

Sometimes their driver links loop back, so try again till it gets you the download.

Realtek is the audio driver in most cases. So, by uninstalling it, you have uninstalled the audio driver. You need to re-install it. Here is a link to download the driver. The download will begin automatically. Just click on run:http://biblprog.us.10gb.ru/drivers/realtek/WDM_R262.exe You might also want to install the codecs for the realtek high definition audio from the link: http://download.cnet.com/Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Codec-Windows-Vista-Windows-7-32-bit/3000-2120_4-10788600.html If you wanna try something new, go for SRS Audio Sandbox. It is small and better. Here's the link to download it: http://download.cnet.com/SRS-Audio-Sandbox/3000-2169_4-10582591.html Note: If the link for the Realtek audio driver does not work, try searching for it on download.cnet.com

I hav downloaded intel dg31pr audio driver for windows xp but while installing it appeard as "this driver version is older than the system one". please solve my problem...,,,

Well mahatab9, you have not told us if there is any audio driver installed on your computer or not. But the error message clearly stated that, you have an audio driver already installed for your motherboard model. So, if the driver is not properly working or you just want to upgrade it, you should use Intel Auto Driver Updater for best result. This will show if there is any updated version of your installed drivers are available or not. To do this, click on the following link to automatically identify and update your drivers and softwares.
Automatically Update your Driver
Now click on "Check Your System for Latest Updates" to start analyzing your computer. This will show whether your system requires an upgrade or not.
IMPORTANT: This utility is for Intel Motherboards only.
But still, if this utility doesn't show any upgrade to your audio driver, then you can manually download this driver as your motherboard INTEL DG31PR supports the Realtek HD Audio driver only for best response. If you have already installed any other audio driver than Realtek, please uninstall that and install this one. To download this, click on this following link:
Download latest Realtek HD Audio Driver
This installation will remove any previous version of Realtek and install the newest one automatically.
Hope this helps, Regards,

I have responded to your earlier post. According to the specifications of your PC, it has realtec sound. Click here to download the Sound Drivers. Double Click the downloaded file ( sp26792.exe), which you may have downloaded already. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the drivers.
Let me know if any further clarification is required

I install realtek audio driver but it is not working. No sound yet in my lenovo G450 laptop. What should i do?

Hi kumarsameers,

According to you, an audio driver Realtek is already installed to your G450 laptop however still no sound is coming out of your computer. There are two possible reasons why you're still encountering this. Driver is not properly loaded or incorrect driver was installed. You may want to try the following steps I have below:

1. Go to this link where you can download and verify the correct audio driver for your Lenovo G450.

2. Once you get there look for Audio, then you'll see all the drivers available. Note: You will notice that there's no Realtek audio driver there. Everything is Conexant Audio Driver. There's a possibility that you have incompatible audio driver for your hardware. So, uninstall the current driver that you have and try downloading the Conexant audio driver. Make sure that you'll select the one which is for your specific Operating System and version.

3. Just click on the name of your selected audio driver.

4. You'll have the option to click on download.

5. After downloading it to your PC, install it.

6. Finally, after installation make sure to reboot your computer.

This should fix the problem that you have with the audio. Hope it helps.

Thank you for using Fixya.
