Question about Computers & Internet
The idea of a password encripted file of any kind is that it is as
difficult to 'crack' as possible. There are bits of software out there
which use dictionaries or variations on words you provide to attempt
decryption but unless you have any clue what the word may be or it is
one of the 100000 words it has on hand then it wont work. Encryption
algorithms really are that good now that a Good password is the best
security there is - even from yourself in cases like this!
Sorry it's not much help but you live and learn. Always keep a record of your passwords somewhere safer than on a computer, written down and hidden from obvious view.
All the best
