Usually they do not sell a single key for a keyboard. You will have to replace the entire keyboard. I found a seller.

Tip

Copy & Paste - Drag & Drop of Files and Folders

Do you find it difficult to drag and drop? Copy files from one folder to another OR move a file from one folder to another? Try this:
  • Open the Windows Explorer. How? Hold down the [WIN] key together with E key. Make this window size in between MAXIMUM and MINIMUM.
  • Open one more window and size it medium as before.
  • Adjust the positions so that you can see both windows side by side
  • Select a drive and folder from one window.
  • Slowly drag it and drop it to an empty space in the other window.
  • If you hold down the [CTRL] key while dragging, you will get a duplicate in the second folder.
  • OR highlight a file from one window , right click, then click on COPY; Now click into the next window, right click on an empty space and click on PASTE

My asus k53e charger port is broken well it still works when I put some force on it but it seems as if the charger port is pushed in and the charger can't reach please help I need to use my laptop and

Hi,, this is a very simple problem but the fix for it is or can be very hard. depending on your skill set you can try to attempt the repairs as I will describe below, but you should really consider getting it professionally repaired.

The problem is the charge port. Quite often the solder holding the contacts is broken and causing it to short out and sometimes the pins in the port are broken as well.. This fix is as simple as re soldering the port or replacing it..

1.) Follow the instructions on this likn to disassemble the Laptop and get to the charge port. http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Disassembly+guide+for+Asus+K53E+laptop./10166/1

2.) re solder or replace the port.

General Disclaimer
Please note based on the information given i have made my suggestions, This can be wrong as I'm not there in person to verify it therefor i can make no guarantee that is the problem. I strongly suggest you have this problem professionally looked at.

Hi,
It seems to be BIOS password, if you don't remember or don't have the BIOS password you have to reset the password by opening your CPU cover and removing the CMOS coin battery, this will reset the BIOS password but dont forget to return back the battery and start using your PC.

My compaq laptop that i have just broke my mom bought it for me ot even a year ago.my sister jumped and fell on the keys and know my screen when it turn on is upsidedown the opposite that it usually is..

check your display settings. Most computers today have a nifty utility that allows the user to rotate the screen and even invert it completely. Could be located in your system tray (along with the clock) This can also be triggered via a combination of keystrokes, which was accidentally pressed when your sister fell on the keys.

I have a hi-grade va250d, my grandfather dropped a glas of salt water on it a couple of months ago and as a result the u key doesn't work, all other keys and functions work correctly, is it possible there...

Hi, does the u key stick or it moves but doesnt respond? If all the other keys respond a good clean under the keys might help, maybe salt crystals are interfering with 'u' function, i had a similar problem with a coffee spillage, i soaked a cotton bud in keyboard cleaning solution, (less than £1 from wilkinson, also comes with a shaped sponge to clean between keys) wiped off excess liquid and carefully cleaned under the keys. i hope you get it sorted............or you change your vocabulary to exclude all u's!
