I need to wire 3 woofers but 2 are dual voice coil and one is single voice coil

sure, if you wish to wire them all together, wire the first dual voice coil subs first voice coil negative to 2nd voice coil positive, second voice coil negative to single voice coil sub positive, and single voice coil negative to 2nd dual voice coil subs 1st voice coil positve (again with the second dual voice coil sub, run the first voice coil negative to the 2nd voice coil positve) your speaker leads will be attatched to first dual voice coils 1st voice coil positive, and 2nd dual voice coils 2nd voice coil negative)

The receiver always goes into protect and im not sure why, it will work for a short time and will then go "off line" and shut off

Cool down first the unit for about 5mins.Disconnect all input and the speakers connected to isolate the problem. Power it on then observe while playing it naked. If the symptom still there then I've suspect that you have a fault on the FF: 1. Power supply - might have an unregulated supply caused by leaky capacitor. 2. Pre-amplifier circuit - might be faulty. 3. Output IC - IC is leaky which overheat after a minute which trigger the unit to protect.
This is not diy and need to send to repair shop. If the symptom gone after you played it naked then I've suspect the ff: 1. Short on speaker wire. 2. Short on speaker voice coil. 3. Short on input.
Thanks for using fixya.

My entire Denon AVR-2800 display is lit up.

For the entire display to be lit up you most likely have a shorted display driver IC. That type of IC is usually a surface mounted flat pack type that even an experienced technician often has a tough time replacing without damaging it. I would recommend that you get a shop to do that swap, or you could spend more money damaging replacement parts than most any shop would charge to make that repair.
Good luck.

I have a Aiwa Stereo Receiver Av-D58. The sound

If I remember this model correctly, there is only 1 direct input. The remainder of the inputs are bufferred through a switching IC. It is likely that this IC is defective. Are there any other symptoms at all?

Thanks,
Dan
