When my computer starts on window xp blue screen appears with fatal system error last time i will update my pc to sp3 and install . installing takes too much time i will unpluged the computer and then...

when your computer is updating do not turn off or shut down your computer this will be the reason for your windows operating system crash. just let the windows update to finish. this this type of error you will need to contact your computer manufacturer or try re-installing your windows XP. If you wish to reformat your computer make sure to back up all your files first.

Blue screen error appearing while installing Windows XP. I cant install windows xp. plz help me. I want to install windows xp.

format the drive in which you have XP before , then install a fresh copy of XP

then when XP's finished first of all Update your drivers first.

Find out what graphic/video card you have.

Start Menu > Run > Dxdiag > Go to the Display Tab >
It should say the Name of the Graphic/Video card.

After you find out the name just google the card and find the drivers.

Install it and see how it works. good luck do vote

Reinstalled xp after major virus infection.. cant find propper bios driver. Windows start up and immediatly i get the blue screen of death! ;)

there is something to checkout for u. reinstall windows xp and do not install any driver just checkout that ur system is running properly or not. if yes then install one driver at a time and check the system that any blue screen appears or not. if any blue scrren appears then remove that driver and go for the latest version of that device driver. reinstall the xp from good media i.e it should contain all the reuired files and dont skip any files from installations.

Installaion error

First make sure thats what you want to do since xp is no longer made. If you still want to go ahead you have to make sure you have the complete install and directions. You will have to remove vista first. But check the specs if you bought the computer with vista already installed you will not have the right drivers in your computer to go backwards in versions. Good luck. The reason the error comes up is that the install is trying to remove a component that is needed for your computer to operate. If you had xp and updated to vista, depending on how it was installed it would have removed the xp driver when updating.

Windows xp installing failed

I assume you are trying to install XP from a self-burned CD.
Did you slipstream SP2 or SP3 in it?

If so, try to burn a DVD instead of a CD. I had that problem once too and followed some advice I found here.

If you have any more questions, just come back here and leave a comment - I'm happy to help.

I recently tried to install a new WD320Gb HD and windows XP won't load. I loaded it to the drive from another computer and Windows won't successfully boot up. I get a Stop: 0x0000076B (0xF7946640,...

You installed the 320GB drive into another system & installed windows XP. Than removed the drive & installed it into another computer!
All of windows internal drivers for the first install will not function in the second. (Windows XP is going nuts).
You have to do a fresh install while in the system you want to keep the drive in. This is why your getting the stop errors & blue screens.
You must have a reason of why you did not install the 320GB drive into the second computer for the XP installation?
Care to provide the why?

Installing XP on HP m8120n

The Blue Screen of Death (also known as a stop error, BSOD, bluescreen, or Blue Screen of Doom) is an error screen displayed by some operating systems, most notably Microsoft Windows, after encountering a critical system error which can cause the system to shut down, to prevent damage.
Bluescreens on NT-based Windows systems can be caused by poorly written device drivers or malfunctioning hardware. In the Win9x era, incompatible DLLs or bugs in the kernel of the operating system could also cause bluescreens.
Bluescreens can also be caused by physical faults such as faulty memory, power supply issues, overheating of components, or hardware running beyond its specification limits. Bluescreens have been present in all Windows-based operating systems since Windows 3.1; earlier, OS/2 and MS-DOS suffered the Black Screen of Death, and early builds of Windows Vista displayed the Red Screen of Death after a boot loader error.

I hope it helps!!!

Problem loading win XP-SP2

Don;t know if this is the cause of u're errors, but it might be do to the motherboard chipset drivers (the lack of them in u're windows version). If so, u have to make a copy of u're windows cd with all u're motherboard drivers included, and try to install with that cd. The same problem appears to all new laptops that do not offer XP support and only Vista support . In order to do the new XP cd, u\ll need a little program that u'l find on internet..... (for example: n-lite)
