The only way to install applications on this phone is via WAP, you can download .jar and .jad files to the phone this way.
You CANNOT copy them over using a cable, on the memory card or bluetooth, it does not work.

How to install softwares on htc wildfire

If you have application files (*.apk) on your computer, you can use HTC Sync to install them to HTC Wildfire S. It is strongly recommended you install only applications that you trust.
Before you begin, make sure that HTC Wildfire S is set to allow applications from your computer to be installed toHTC Wildfire S. To do this, press howtoimage.aspx?id=88185 while on the Home screen, tap Settings > Applications, and then select the Unknown sources check box.
  1. On the Device panel, click Overview.
  2. Click Application installer.
  3. Browse for the application file on your computer, and then click Open. The installation process starts on HTC Wildfire S.
  4. Check the screen on HTC Wildfire S to see if there are additional instructions to complete the installation.
  5. After installation is complete, you can click Disconnect.
  6. Safely remove HTC Wildfire S as required by your computer's operating system.

I upgraded the Android system for my sanyo zio and now i can't recieve any text messeges cause it says that the memory is full and it also says that my phone memory is full eventhough iv'e been erasing...

It seems most of you applications are stored in the Phone Memory and/or your application data is taking up lot of memory. You actually don't have to erase/uninstall applications. Please consider performing the following steps:

  1. Go to Settings --> Applications --> Manage Applications. In this Menu you'll be shown a list of applications. Use the Menu Button to "Sort by Size" and get a list of the applications sorted from high memory usage to low (phone memory). Once this is done, you'll be able to view the memory being used by each of the applications. Click on the applications which you see are consuming more memory and then use the "Clear Data" button to clean up the data being stored by the applications to free up memory. This clears up any cache, cookie, temp files associated with the applications. Depending on your android version, you may also see an additional button "Move to SD Card". The best option to get more space would be to use this button and move the application to the 4 GB SD Card storage.
  2. Optional Step if you do not have "Move to Phone/SD Card" option available - From the Android Market, download and install "App 2 SD Free". Once done, this application should help you free up a lot of space by moving applications from your phone memory to the SD card.
Hope this was helpful. If so, please consider rating this solution.

There is an option to "Allow installation of non-Market applications" at Settings->Applications. Try to mark it "checked", and try again if your third party app installs.

Problem with samsung j700

Hi,it seems you have problems with the installation of games and applications on your phone,

Here is the solution;
The best and only way to install games and applications on your phone is through downloading from the internet

The samsung J700 supports only java enabled games and applications,

so be mindful of the games and applications you download because if youdownload a game or application of another format,it will not functionproperly or not at all,and may pose a risk to your phone.

You can get cool applications and games for free at this website;

Take care
