How to use sim slot

The rear SD slot is not a SIM card. It is under the Cardbus slot.

It is for memory cards of the SD type, not a SIM card which is for cell phones, as it does not have a telephone facility.

Try this

Remove the battery from the laptop and unplug it.

Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Reinsert the battery and plug the computer back in.

Try turning it on.

Many HP laptops have a built in static protection that needs to be released. This could be what happened in your case. If this reset doesn't work you will probably need to get it repaired by a technician.

I hope this helps! If this did help you, please give a thumbs up!

What is WWAN in my computer that has a sim slot? Is it can be use to connect to the internet ?

Hello,
If your WWAN has a sim slot that means you can sign up with a provider such as Bell, Rogers, Verizon etc, to get mobile internet. The data plans are usually a bit of a rip off so I don't recommend it unless you really need to be remote a lot (where you can't get a wifi connection via DSL or cable)

Did you remove the "old" RAM, or did you add the "new" RAM to the old RAM?

Try using your computer with ONLY the "new" RAM installed.

HP compaq connect TV

I believe that model only has a VGA out. So unless your tv has VGA input you would need to purchase a converter.
