Question about HP Photosmart C7280 Printer
Everytime I turn my laptop on my c7280 (wired) to a fios modem/router show the status offline and then ready and does this for 5 minutes before it stays in the ready. Anybody have ideas to fix this so it is ready to print when I turn the computer on?
It seems to be an issue with the printer drivers on the computer,You need to check for any queued documents,if they are there,if yes, delete them,if not go ahead and unintsall the printer drivers from the control panel>printers and faxes and then restart your computer and then try a plug and play if its a USB printer ...it would work....

If you're offline with the printer, you definitely won't be able to print.
I'm assuming you're using Windows XP here. Most Windows products will be similar...
On the laptop, click on the Start button, then Settings, then Printers and Faxes. Find your printer in the list, right-click on it and click "Use Online" or uncheck the "Offline" box.
