Ok this is one of my two options since I cannot install the software to give a exact no fail answer for ya:

1) Open My Computer
2) Go to Program Files
3) Look for something called Quick Heal
4) Open that folder and then look for one of the following files:
[Note: * 's are Widcards: Meaning anything after or in place of that is fine.]
unins*.exe, uninst.exe or anything called Uninstall or like it.

If you see one run it as it will most likely work and remove it for you.

Also in some rare cases there is a Setup.exe that has the capability of removing the software as well.

My second option would be to if you can find the Quick Heal folder is to click the folder once to highlight it, Hold Shift and press Delete to permenantly delete it and then go about something that works but I warn you if you do any mistakes can cause issues:

1) Go to Start > Run
2) Then type cmd and hit enter.
3) Once you see the run Dialog type: msconfig
4) Press Enter
5) Go to the services tab and uncheck any box that in the manufacturer says Quick Heal in any means or is in the Startup Item Part.
6) Go to the Services tab and before you do anything check the "Hide all Microsoft services"
7) Look under Service and Manufacturer for things labeled Quick Heal and uncheck them
8) Click Apply and then Ok and then then the reboot option.

This process should manually remove Quick Heal but I suggest you only do this for this program.

I sincerely hope this helps.

Hi,

It happens to all of us. We download something and it causes more problems than could ever be foreseen. There is a solution and it's FREE.

There is a very comprehensive program called Revo Uninstaller and it will eliminate every remnant of that troublesome program. Just click on the following link; download the program; and, follow the simple instructions: Revo Uninstaller Download

The following is the CNET review of the program:

Where the built-in and sluggish Windows Add or Remove Programs option fails, freeware Revo picks up the slack. It builds out a useful feature set on top of a fairly light, 1.5MB installation. Launching Revo fires up the Uninstaller screen, which shows icons and titles of all programs installed on your machine. You can change the View to List or Details, if you'd like more information. Right-clicking gives users a list of choices, from the fundamental like Uninstall and Remove from list, to Search Google, Show the installation directory, and quick access to the app's Help file, its About screen, and an Update link
.
All the best,

Ben

When i first install quick heal total security 2010 trial version & remove after use 28 day .....so now i m install quick heal total security 2011 but not install it says ur all ready use trial version...

While I am not familiar with this particular security suite I did peruse their website. While they are obviously not a major player the product they offer appears to be legit.

The first thing that comes to mind if installing the full version ends up appearing to be the trial version is that the uninstaller -- you state you removed the trial after 28 days -- had an issue and left remnants of the trail version (registry entries etc). This is a common problem.

My suggestion is to do a complete uninstall of the security suite with a highly recommended program called Revo Uninstaller. I don\'t **** a whole lot of products, but this one makes my short list. You can get it here:

The other thing to check is whether there is an option within the program to enter the serial number for the full version of the security suite in order to switch it from trial mode to running as fully licensed mode.

Can't run a quick play

Quick play is a funny animal, first go to add and remove programs.
Remove quickplay. Reboot unit.
Next, google quickplay 3.7 and download the program.
Next open the quickplay program and allow it to my a new folder.
After quickplay has finished you will have a updated quickplay 3.7 or better and should run with no problems.
Hope this has helped you.

Cant Unistall Quick Time

In some cases, when removing a program it leaves behind certain files, you need to go into the C drive under programs and delete the file manually, or it may also leave a few threads in the registry, to get rid of them you can go to filhippo.com and download CClaener. CCleaner is a very useful program that cleans up various unused and unneeded items in your computer, helping it to run smother and faster. Recap, download and run CCleaner (both regular run and registry), then check the C drive for any Quick time leftovers, then run a search from the start menu (keyword Quick time). If the search finds anything write down the path as to where they are and manually delete them. If the search doesn't find anything, then install the newer Quick time. For future reference, when updating Quick time, you don't need to remove the old, the update or newer version will do this for you in the download process.
