A E000007-0000 means that the fixing film is out of "HP" The fixing film has a white patch that is the home position and as the film is turned, there is a sensor that reads it in & out of "HP". Odds are that the film is ripped on one side and the film moved toward the front of the copier and the sensor can not read the patch. You will need to replace the upper film unit or the whole fuser unit to repair the problem.... Good Luck
i have canon ir2016 photocopier machine and its given me system error, and the error code is E007. i now when its happen so, its the fuser film that is worn out. i change the fuser and fix a new one but still the error is there. what should i do next to clear the error?
This error code indicates to the copier that the upper fixing film on the fuser assy is not rotating. Paper wrapped around the fixing film or the film itself is damaged may cause this. Unless you are very mechanically inclined , it will take the removal of the fixing assy and possibly the replacing of the fixing film assy. A tech would need to be called in to correct the problem. The fixing film is a replaceable item. Good luck.
