my xbox stops play and says unreadable disc.1 clean disc. 2 restart console.this happens intermitantly but regularly[every day].i clean the disc and try others but its still the same.

When I turn on my console the screen only black and white. Then when I put a game in it says unreadable disc and I don't know what to do.

every time i put a disc in it says insert disc

The Xbox 360 keeps telling me the disc is unreadable and that it needs to be clean. I got the game though about 2 days ago and it isn't dirty.

Will not load or it will freeze early.

Brand new games (ie Brothers in arms hells highway,2 days old!) are coming up disc unreadable on my 360 at least once a day.iv had enough coz its my third 360 so im thinking of just getting my money back

In the middle of playing a game, the game will freeze and it will state that the disk is not readable.

My xbox keeps freezing in the middle of the game and it says that the disk in unreadable but every disk i put in it, it comes up with the same error.

WTF! All my games work perfectly fine but one, Call Of Duty 4. It is not the disc, because I have tried two of my friends discs and there's didn't work in my console. Also one of my friends tried my disc in there console and it worked fine. Everytime I try and press multiplayer it just say's that the disc is unreadable. I know there is something wrong with my xbox, but what do i do.

my xbox360 reads only call of duty 4, but i have a problem with the new grand theft auto and mlb2k8, it says doesnt read disc but those two games are brand new please somebody help me figure out this problem

my games keep pausing in the middle of the games but its mainly on my assasins creed and fifa i changed my fifa about five times and now im just really annoyed with it because it keeps doing it.

Is anyone else having this problem where no disc will play at all?

I have had my xbox 360 just a little over a year. I was playing Halo 3 today when it started grinding like crazy so I turned it off and waited a few minutes. Now I cannot get any disc or dvd to play at all. Tried taking the hard drive off but that did not work. I called support just to be told that my warranty expired December 16th, 2007(how convenient!) and if I want it repaired I will have to pay $99. I already paid over $400 for this system a year ago! Now I have to pay extra because their system has defect! No way!

Is this a scam or what? I have never had a game console in the past that crapped out like this so fast. What really gets me is that this error is one of the top on the list for the support page so it has to be a common problem. So why do I have to pay $99? Something just does not sound right here. Sounds like a scam to me.

Anyone else have this problem?

the console tells me to insert a game when their is one inserted. i open and closed the disk tray over and over,i blow the disk tray and inside of the console, i start the system over and nothing works

the stupid curse happened on blue dragon and assassins creed neither of them had scratches apart from the circular scratches near the center of the disc both identical console problem that needs repairing by the company badly. ive wiped it how it said put it in the gamestation disc buffer in wigan twice and ive tried to play it to see if it was a one off fault but it happens again over and over and im gonna email the company.
