I notice you're having the same problem in Excel. Which version of Microsoft Office are you using? Which operating system are you running? Can you create and save a new file in both Word and Excel? If not, what happens when you try?

How to download ms office in pen drive?

If you need to download the software to install on a computer that lacks Internet access or you need to get a copy to install on a netbook without a CD drive, the easiest solution is to download it to a folder on your primary computer. Next click on the folder and select 'copy to', then select your flash drive as the location. The copied folder contains all the files needed for the install.
There is a more elaborate process, but that requires copying .IDEs and .DLLs.

I have been having nothhing but problems since being purportedly infected by the ramnit virus. I seem to have lost control of the computer at logon, since Norton 360 apparently decided that every startup...

Not your average virus, this malware injects code in legitimate files similar to the Virut virus and in many cases the infected files cannot be disinfected properly by your anti-virus. When disinfection is attempted, the files often become corrupted and the system may become unstable or irreparable. The longer Ramnit.A remains on a computer, the more files it infects and corrupts so the degree of infection can vary.

Ramnit is commonly spread via a flash drive (usb, pen, thumb, jump) infection where it copies Worm:Win32/Ramnit.A with a random file name. The infection is often contracted by visiting remote, crack and keygen sites. These type of sites are infested with a sm?rg?sbord of malware and a major source of system infection.

The general consensus is that Ramnit.A cannot be effectively disinfected, so your best option is to perform a full reformat as there is no guarantee this infection can be completely removed. In most instances it may have caused so much damage to your system files that it cannot be completely cleaned or repaired. In many cases the infected files cannot be deleted and anti-malware scanners cannot disinfect them properly. Many experts in the security community believe that once infected with this type of malware, the best course of action is to wipe the drive clean, reformat and reinstall the OS.

Sadly, this means that even trying to back up still accessible files brings with it the risk of reinfecting a new installation and also obviates the further use of any infected removable media.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings. Good luck axle

How do I save a document on memory stick.I use a micro soft 2007

When you plug you USB device (called a pen, a stick, etc), if you pay attention, XP or Vista makes a sound telling you it's recognized an external device and is making it availabe to you. Further, there should be a brief showing of a message, near the system tray (lower right corner of your desktop) telling you the same thing. In most cases, if the device contains files or pictures, a dialog window pops up asking you what you wish to do with these files, and prompts you for a default action, so that you don't have to be asked again.
If you look at your disk drives using Windows Explorer, the one you use to look through your directories and files, you will see a new drive that was not there before you plugged the USB device in. It acts as a hard drive, except that it may have limited storage.
In MS Office 2007, instead of using "Save", try "Save As..." and then you'll be presented with the familiar small window showing you the drives and folders on your PC or laptop.
Navitate to the USB device (say, drive "E", or what have you), and save the file there. Optionally, you may also create directories and subdirectories on the USB drive, to organize multiple files, if that is your intention.
Good luck!

Cannot Open Excel 2000 File.

I presume you are trying to open the document using the Recently Opened file list in Excel's "File" menu. If so, use the "Open" entry in the "File" menu instead and navigate to the pen drive from there - it may be that the drive letter has changed. Another possibility: use Windows Explorer (which can be accessed by double clicking on My Computer) to copy the file from the pen drive to the desktop and open it from there by double clicking on it. If that still doesn't work (but the copy worked OK) then right click on the file, click on "Properties" and see if the Read Only box is checked. If so, uncheck it.

And yet another possibility: after closing the file, did you pull the pen drive from the PC without telling Windows to eject it first? If you just remove the drive too quickly, without ejecting it first, the file can easily be corrupted.
