Question about E-Machines eMachines Desktop PC
Someone gave me a Emachine W3623 with windows vista home basic I recieve a No Enviroment error message and I was asking for help to restore original settings ,but I dont have a backup disk or start up disk Is ther any way reinstall factory settings
When u boot up try holding down the f8 key it may be f12 but it will take u to boot options screen!
then choose the las configuration that worked! or the safe mode! in the safe mode u should be able to restore to earlier settings good luck an merry christmas!

Simply put, No.
Chances are the performance of vista on an eMachine is an ugly sight anyway. My advise would be to downgrade to XP or try a good solid Linux distribution like Ubuntu. It will preform faster and be more stable that it ever was with Vista. Don't get me wrong I am not a total vista hater but it is a hog.
