Question about Whirlpool LEQ7030KQ Electric Dryer
You were right, it was the belt I found it broken after itook the back cover off. How do I ge to where Ireplace the belt? Front, back, bottom? I just don't want to start taking the entire dryer apart trying to find where the belt goes. Thanks for everything.
Tom, you do this job from the front sir.. First you remove the two screws that are under the lint filter cover, then pop the top with a putty knife by depressing the two tabs that are securing the top. Next remove the two 5 1/16" screws that secure the front panel to the cabinet. The front panel tips forward and then you can remove it and set it aside, being careful with the door switch wires.
The replacement belt should have a diagram printed on the bag also...
You will need to locate the tensioner/idlerpulley, as it probably has sprung out of the notch in the base of the machine and is laying loose under the drum.
