SOURCE: DVD A160 E PLAYER ERROR CODE
This error actually means "eeprom abnormality."
An eeprom is a memory chip inside the player. In this particular case, it contains data that basically tells your player how to set itself up after it has been powered up. You could try disconnecting the power cord for 15 minutes then try the unit again. Failing that the chip may have a bad connection to one of the pins or it may be faulty.
If you are tempted to open the unit, be careful because these components are sensitive to static, which means that touching bits inside even when the power is off can damage them unless you know what you're doing.
Can be repaired by an engineer.

SOURCE: CODE F894
that means the player cannot access the eeprom to read it's setup data
in other words bad board
you can fix it but its not easy or worth the cost the eeprom is the 25020 chip you would have to soldered a new one on
