Burn your dvds in a proper way. If you burn your dvds as data dvd, it may not work on certain dvd players. Try different software or different PC to burn your dvds. Check the region code of your dvd player & the dvds burnt. They should match. You may find some region-free players.

the secret in burning movies to DVDs are that they must be burnt using the slowest speed....the DVD disk may say 16x...but preferably burn it in the slowest speed of say 2x....it may take a long time....but it's worth it....this ensures that all data are copied to the DVD with precision.....some times a bit of data is skipped in fast speed coping....and it causes the movie to stop.
Not a solution but in case it may help other's understanding with a similar problem, found glitch to be related to the default Chapter-making process within the Panasonic DVD recorder when dubbing a DVD. Default appears to be 5 mins 20 seconds per chapter, i.e. 320 seconds. Glitches from these DVDs are seen regularly on two of my four DVD players at every 32 seconds, i.e. one-tenth of the chapter length. Can't explain why this happens, or why indeed two of the players sail-through this recurring glitch without problem.
