Question about KitchenAid KSRS25IL Side by Side Refrigerator
I'm a complete newbie. I don't really know much about the workings of my icemaker, but I do know that it isn't working, but the water dispenser in the door works fine. It doesn't look like any water is getting into the tray. I just recenly replaced the filter. I did flush the water dispenser for 5 minutes after installing the filter, as recommended on the packaging, but the icemaker stopped working shortly after changing the filter. Is the line clogged? Is it merely frozen (as I saw mentioned in another thread)? How do I check, or should I just call a repair person? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks! Doug
Before u call a repair man i would unplug the fridge for 12 hours about depending on weather to let ur line unfreeze if thats the problem the dispenser in the door and the one to the icemaker are two different lines so just because the door works with water dispensing doesnt mean the freezer line isnt froze over
