Go to control panel then go to add and remove programs then when it loads everything up look at the list and you will find Internet explorer and you click on it and it will say remove and you click there

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Hi after downgrading ie8 to ie6 and upgrading ie6 to ie7, internet explorer fails to open. pls help solve

Download the installer for whatever version of IE you would like to use to your desktop. Next go into the control panel and then to add and remove programs. Uninstall the current version of IE then reboot and reinstall IE from the installer on your desktop.

Uninstall IE8 and install IE7, the original IE, please.

Click Start
Click Control Panel
Click Add/Remove Programs
Click Show Updates
Select IE8
Click uninstall
This should "restore" your previous version of IE (6? 7?)

Or, if you're running Vista or 7, see: http://www.microsoft.com/ie9
and install "Internet Explorer 9 beta", i.e., a "pre-release" version of the _next_ version of IE.

Hi I cant seem to uninstall my internet explorer 8 I believe it is corrupt an need to remove it asap. Thanx

Short ans, you can't uninstall, without a lot of agro, nice microsoft.

Have you carried out the repair prog. Try downloading another copy and reinstalling, should give you choice to repair?

Go to microsoft website and checkout explorer 8 Forum or enter in search pane uninstall Explorer8. Be prepared to be enlightened?

Alternative save all your important files docs etc, fatal, clean format and reinstall sys.

Have you tried a "Restore to Point"

I need to change my internet explorer 8 to internet explorer 7 & i have windows vista

Hi,
Click on the start menu (orb), go to the Control Panel and select Programs & Features. From the list of installed software locate IE8 and uninstall it.

Restart your computer and download IE7 from here (its say's it's for XP, just ignore that it will work on Vista)

May i also recommend Mozilla Firefox. This much easier and faster than any version of Internet Explorer. Get it here >>>>>

Added ie 8 beta, uninstalled, ie will not start

basically your ie8 uninstallation is bad...try and see if you can get an ie8 uninstallation toolkit at microsoft.com to uninstall ie8 properly. Else, you might have to reinstall ie7 after uninstalling ie8.. this same problem persisted when micorosft released ie7 and i was supporting ie7 when released. so take my word. happens with all ie beta versions..

IE7 Crashing

First off check and make sure all your settings in your browser are set to default. If that doesn't resolve the issue than go to your control panel to your add and remove programs. Check the "show updates" box. Starting with the last one first, remove IE updates. After each removing restart your pc and try surfing again.
When it stops crashing don't install that update. Another long shot is to click on removal of IE7 which will bring up a repair IE option. Finally, uninstall and re install. The process of elimation is all you have without us knowing more details. (PC brand, age, OS version, 3rd party software, harware configuration, etc)
