We had the same thing happen it seems that when putting the pasta through the machine the handle slowly works itself out and when there is not enough contact with the splines in the hand it begins to burr the slots which causes it to jam. Hold the rollers firmly and then wriggle the handle out. When making pasta make sure the handle is right the full way in and doesn't start to come out and burr the slots and cause it to get stuck. We had the same thing happen it seems that when putting the pasta through the machine the handle slowly works itself out and when there is not enough contact with the splines in the hand it begins to burr the slots which causes it to jam. They are available on eBay or you can buy one of the cheap clay rolling machines and they have the same clamp and handle. You can keep an eye out at Goodwill's as I see them all the time. Good Luck!
Have you tried going to the manufacturer's website? I have this pasta maker on my website and you might try one of the links. But you will probably have to get a new machine. You could also go to your hardware store. They might have a clamp that you could use. Good luck.
Everything you could possibly want to know about these types of pasta makers are at this site. It will cover all hand-crank machines and is a wealth of info. http://www.fantes.com/marcato.html
I opened the rollers to the widest setting (Zero), and placed a folded business card between the rollers. I then turned the dial down so the rollers were "pinching" the card, and while keeping tension on the dial to gently squeeze the card, I gently shook the handle for a few seconds and it came out!
