New AT&T Quickfire Bluetooth Problems

I have already posted this problem but the question was misunderstood. My phone recognizes other phones and computers through searching for them but when I choose to connect it won't connect. I have tried to five different devices and it still doesn't work, either way computer to phone or phone to computer.

Have Same problem. Finds and recognizes other devices, but will not transfer files.

I have the Quickfire, and I can't get my blue tooth to connect to anyones phone to get music or anything...I wish that I would have known this before I bought the phone, because I would have not purchased it! The screen freezes up constantly, and it's becoming a pain in the ***! This phone is not worth having...If you don't have the quickfire, don't waste your time or money trying to get it!!!!

So, you do the search for devices, and it finds other phones, compuers, etc but will not pair up, yes?
The only thing that I can think of is you are not entering in the password correctly or some reason, it should pair up - keeping in mind that the Quickfire does not support bluetooth tech. on files, you need a USB cable for that.
Passy is 0000 -
Sorry if that is not more helpful

I have a Quickfire GTX75 sold and configured to AT&T. But I traveled to Brazil and I'll stay here for a few months. I can only send messages and make calls. GPS, Internet, Bluetooth, everything...

Bluetooth should work fine, just pair it with your headset or hands free.

Make sure it's unlocked. GPS and internet require data, so make sure you buy a SIM card with data on it. Many SIM cards only have voice (minutes).

Good luck!

When I want to receive files from another mobile, my phone can not be recognized; I have checked the" the device is visible to other devices" already; but it does'nt work. i have reset the phone...

If you're trying to send/receive files via Bluetooth, you'll need to go into the Windows Marketplace and download a Bluetooth File Send application. The Bluetooth that comes with most mobile phones is restricted to using Bluetooth Headsets.

Bluetooth wont send or receive ringtones

Go to a cell phone kiosk or the place where they sell the cell phones you have and talk to a customer service agent to get a step by step process of how to setup your bluetooth. It could just be a bad unit.
