Question about Sony D-EJ001 Personal CD Player
I just baught this new in the box, it's less than a week old. It was working fine a few hours ago, but now when I press play, it makes a grinding type noise, then reads "no disc." I have tried using different discs, new batteries, taking out battteries for a few minutes to let it reset (not even sure if that is necessary)and still no change. I then took out the screws and opened the case up, nothing seems to be loose or out of place. Any ideas?

Yes, its toast. Sled mechanism seems broken and complete optical lens will be replaced that would cost more than D-EJ011 worth.

Testimonial: "Thanks for your confirmation! Product overpriced and lasted <1yr. Now see many people expressing same. Unethical, actually. Thanks again."
