42 light keeps flashing

tried to check first the power supply if no any sign of bulging electrolytic capacitor this was a common that we encountered trouble.

There is an energy save setting on your controls. Turn that off if you don't want tv to keep turning off while you are changing inputs. Hope this helps.

IF your Fans are running then your ballast board is not working replace it. A Bad Lamp Fan can also keep set from turning on otherwise your lamp needs replacement

Flashing repeatedly --- Improper voltage supply
Flashing once --- Malfunctioning of fan
Flashing twice ---excessive temperature
Flashing 3 time or more--other problem

When flashing occurs please remove the power cord from receptacle and inform your dealer about the flashing sequence.
