I Can't Get the Music onto my Player

I have a list of songs on my media player on the computer that I would like to put on my MP3 player. There is absolutely nothing on my MP3 player, so all of the memory is available, but for some reason I can't get the songs to sync onto the player.

You can use Windows Explorer to transfer files to your insignia sport player. First, in the settings on your player, go to Settings, USB Mode, Connection Type and select File & Folder. Then, plug your player in to your USB cable. Windows XP should automatically find your player and make a new drive letter in Windows Explorer. Simply drag and drop your files from your c drive to the new drive for your player. You'll notice that when you delete the files on your new drive for your player that it doesnt remove them from your player. You'll need to use your player (settings, system, erase internal) to erase internal (and external), but after that when you add new files, they will be added to the player when it does the profiling after you disconnect the USB cable. Install Windows Media Player if the program is not on the computer.

Choose this folder and then click "OK." Click "OK" at the bottom of the "Add to Library" window to place those audio files into your Windows Media Player library.

Click "Sync" at the top of the program.

Plug the MP3 player into the computer.

Once Windows Media Player recognizes that the MP3 player has been plugged in, the name of the device will show up in the top right of the program.

Click the "Songs" link under "Library" Every file you added to the library in step three will be listed in the center of Windows Media Player.

Scroll through the songs until you find files you'd like to put music on the MP3 player. Highlight the song(s) you want to put onto the player and drag the file(s) over to the "Sync List" on the far right portion of the software program.

Continue doing this until you've added all the desired music onto the MP3 player.

Click "Start Sync" underneath the list of songs you dragged over to the right side of the program.

How to get songs back in the coby mp3?

Hello,

On the MP610 you could use either Windows Media Player 11 or Coby Media Manager for transfers of songs.

Next steps are important for adding files onto the player:
1. The player should be detected in the software for transfers, when connecting the USB cable.
2. Setup your library in the software (Add to library): There has to be a list of folders in the software manager, where your music is located on the computer.
3. Create a playlist in the software: make a list of songs, you want to transfer onto your player
4. Sync the playlist onto the player.

When needing more help, just add text in this reply.

I need the drivers to download songs on my naxa nx-187 and no they dont have the software on their website

Hello.
Please follow these steps to put music on your Mp3 Player.

  1. Start off by putting a battery in you Naxa mp3 player. This is necessary in order to add music to a Naxa mp3 player. Naxa mp3 Players require one AAA battery and this battery goes into the back of the device.
  2. Plug your Naxa mp3 player into your computer. To do this, take the cap off of the bottom of the player. You will then be able to plug the Naxa mp3 player directly into a USB port on your computer.
  3. Open Windows Media Player and then click the "Sync" tab found at the very top of the program. Once you do, you will notice that the Naxa mp3 player is listed in the top right corner of Windows Media Player.
  4. Double-click the "Library" link on the left side of Windows Media Player. Once you do, several different options will appear underneath "Library."
  5. Click the "Songs" option found below "Library." Once you do, a list of all of the songs in your Windows Media library will appear in the middle of the program.
  6. Browse through all of the songs in your library and right click over any song you want to add to your Naxa mp3 player. After you right click on a song, you will need to select "Add to Sync List." You will then see the song listed in the column on the far right side of Windows Media Player. Continue doing this until you are finished putting music on the Naxa mp3 player.
  7. Click the "Start Sync" button located underneath the list of music you selected in Step 7. The music will then be added to the Naxa mp3 player
Thank You
From eHow.

Downloading music

Oh.. If I know that mp3 player, it's a USB2 type (Where you plug it directly into your computers open USB slot).

I could list alot of sites where you can buy songs, but if you have some on your computer, It's just a drag-and-drop situation.

Running Windows XP? Drivers should automatically enable it to run from your system. Try doing the following.

Open "My Computer" after plugging the player in. If you see it, you can just grab a song from your collection and drop it straight into the player.

Also Media player might be able to sync your music, but I prefer this method... Less of a hassle.

Load the Philips software onto your computer. You have to load the songs onto the player using WMP (Windows Media Player) 8 or 9. Connect the player using the USB cable. Run the Philips Go Gear Digital Audio Player software. Upgrade the firmware. This will format the player and erase everything you have done so far. Start WMP. Click on the Synch tab.It will have 2 window panes. In the right side, at the top, there is a drop list. Select the player from the list. Now create a synch list by clicking on edit playlist. Once you have added the songs, click Start Synch. That's all there is to it. Ian
