Question about Emerson InSinkErator W-152 Point-Of-Use 2-1/2 Gallon Water Heater...
I'm replacing my insinkerator and on top of the tank on the left is a quick connect fitting when I insert the copper tube into it, it locks in place, but when I turn on the water it leaks - I replaced o-ring and still leaks- when I air test the unit and hold the copper tube in a certain position it does not leak. What can I do? I would appreciate any suggestions.
When you cut the pipe it has to be cut square or it will leak . Try recutting the end of the pipe and then reinserting it. If this doesn't work then the only thing you can do is replace the fitting.
