Question about Calculators
I HAVE THE MANUAL THAT SAYS YOU CAN PROGRAM A 20% DISCOUNT ON THE REGISTER AS WELL AS A MARKUP BUT IT IS ONLY ALLOWING ME TO DO A MARK-UP & I JUST CAN SEEM TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO WORK ON THE DISCOUNT PART , I DONT NEED THE MARK-UP? DO YOU THINK YOU CAN SOLVE THE PROBLEM FOR ME?
You can solve these type of problems in Excel just write a formulla in another column for example you type the princple values in Column A & Row 1 and you write a formulla in colomn B & row 1 i.e., =SUM((A1-(A1*20%))). Then you will arrive the value after discount.
