It's pretty easy: Just look at: http://www.abcua.com/images/goods/733/7718_b.jpg

Every cable has it's own coloured connector. For the black boxy USB connectors (in the middle), it doesn't matter which one of the same type connector you use, they're all the same.

Your mouse and keyboard could be the purple and green round connectors at the top, or one of the black boxy connectors in the middle.

Your sound-connectors are the round ones in the lower-middle. When you look close you'll also see an small icon just below it (speaker, mic, etc...). If you only have 1 cable and stereo speakers, it's probably the middle green one.

Your network cable (if you have one), is the bigger single black boxy connector in the middle. For wireless networks (if applicable), you'll probably have a WiFi USB adapter/dongle, which goes into one of the black boxy USB connectors,

Your video/monitor cable is either blue (try either one of those, it's most likely the one at the bottom, but when that doesn't work try the upper one), or white; In that case it's the bottom white one. Finally, but a little unlikelier, it could be the small black one in the middle between the blue and white, or when that doesnt work; the orange one with the big 'HDMI' next to it.

And finally, the power is the big one on the right.

PS: The red one is for a specific type of external HDD driver and is not that commonly used.

The reset button is the small black rubber covered hole on the left side of the vacuum channel. If you press down on that with something like a knitting needle with the unit on, it should reset

Yep. another lens stuck.

it depends on what the problem acctually is. In my experience with cammeras such as these, a problem of this nature is not worth the trouble, but if you really like the cammera then take the covers off by removing the screws around the cammera body. Start by removing the back peace. you wont need to remove the door for the batteries or the two screws around the mount on the bottom of the cammera that hold the screw tripod mount in place. once you remove the backing you will expose at least one more screw on the side that holds the front cover on. you will want to very carefully remove the wires for the backing by pulling back the ribbon cable retainer clip and the ribon cable retainer clip must be pulled back carefully for the shutter switch as well when removing the front pannel of the cammera. Unplug the yellow wire for the micro switch in the front if applicable and then you will have exposed the lense. remove the screws holding the lense assembly in and then look around at the operation. THERE IS A CAPACITOR IN THE FRONT OF THE CAMMERA THAT WILL SHOCK YOU!!! DO NOT TOUCH THE BOARD. I've been shocked by the thing at least 3 times today so dont get all hasty. you will probably notice one of the gears are stuck or something you can buy a new lense assembly and install it but it is probably just as much as the cammera. I would sugges trying to repair it or if it is too damaged throw it away. It depends on what you find. you can look up small gears on line but it also may just need to be set back in or cleaned. You may also want to replace the cammera battery while you are in there. When removing the back pannel start from the bottom of the cammera and slightly hinge up and pull the backing away genly as to not snap the retainers in the upper part of the cammera or yank out the ribbon cable. REMOVE THE BATTERY BEFORE YOU BEGING. WITH THE BATTER REMOVED THE CAPACITOR WILL STILL SHOCK YOU. be careful.

There is a reset switch that you need a small paperclip or needle to operate it.

Hold the unit face down with the speaker holes towards you. Looking at the connector from the bottom. you should see the gold connectors with the round pin on the left. Above that is the green circuit board and just above that on the right of the black plastic boss is a recess with a small hole. Insert the paperclip and you will feel a small movement of 2mm that indicates that the reset button has operated. Dock the unit in the charger so that there is definate power and press the on/off button.
