I looked at the 15inch version, if the 1.8 model has a battery, and by the way the specs what that I've seen don't include a battery. it will be internal, you will need to open the unit up locate the old battery look at the part number or part details written on it and then find a replacement you can also send me the battery details and I can look for replacement so far I have not found replacement batterys for these.

How to remove battery digital picture frame

I believe the only battery you have to replace is in the Remote Control ? The picture frame itself does not have a battery .. only the A/C connection.

To Install or Replace the Remote Control Battery :

1. Hold the Remote Control with the control buttons facing downward.
2. While pressing down on the ridged area of the battery cover, pull the tray out.
3. Place a "CR2025" Lithium battery on the tray with the positive "+" end facing toward you.
4. Close the tray.

Hope this helps.

Remote control for Smart Parts 11" digital frame (SKU SP11008) doesn't work. Have changed battery, but cannot get any type of connection between remote and frame. Received as gift over a year ago, but did...

Hello,
We have to check the remote control first. After that check the digital picture frame.

Follow the instructions below please;

We must be sure the remote control is working; For this control:

1. Take a digital photo of this remote control while pressing the remote control button.

2. If it is working then the picture must shows the led lamp of remote control as firing.

3. If the picture does not show that it is firing, then, you should control batteries of the remote control.

4.Check the battery and the battery polarity of the remote control.

5.If it is firing. You should control Digital Picture Frame.

6. If the battery of the digital picture frame does have enough energy or not. If battery is low then you shoud use it from the closer distance.

7. I do not think that the Digital Picture Frame is out of order.

Regards.

Kodak easy share z612 will not turn on to take a picture

When the battery dies, usually the camera will retract the lens if possible. If the battery is so dead the lens can not retract, I would recommend trying to charge or change the battery. Or try to turn the camera on, and then manually shutting it off if you can.
