Question about HP Photosmart A440 Printer
I just got a hp A440 series as a gift. I went through the setup process, but everything it prints has a very green tint. I've went through the cleaning process the printer has. Any help would be very appreciative?
The first thing I would do is run a calibration utility, sometimes the printer doesn't know it is using too much (or the wrong) ink.
If calibrating the printer doesn't seem to work I would remove the ink\toner cartages and clean the pads and contacts of the printer to ensure that no green residue is causing your tint problem. Rubbing alcohol does the trick nicely. (if you don't have any on hand, nail polish remover works as well.)
