Question about Toshiba 32AF43 32" TV
The picture is 'hourglass' shaped.
This is called "pincushion distortion" and the circuit that is supposed to correct it is not working. This is often due to solder connections to some parts failing because of heat. It may also be caused by component failure. It is a problem that is not difficult to correct once the bad connections are repaired or parts replaced, and the cost of a repair would be far less than replacement cost.
