You will notice that dirt accumulates on both the wheels and
track. First, I suggest reading you user
manual. To avoid dirt build-ups, I
recommend wiping the machine after each use.
This is not instead of a cleaning, but will limit the time you spend
cleaning the machine. If your manual is not
helpful, I found a great article called "Keeping Your Elliptical Machine Clean"
- this should help. http://www.abcarticledirectory.com/Article/-Keeping-Your-Elliptical-Machine-Clean-/896160
There are plenty of online stores that sell refurbished
elliptical machines. Here are a few;
however I recommend doing some extra searching of your own.

You should look into buying a mini-elliptical. They are perfect for small spaces. Here are a few sites that can provide you
with more information.

Don't worry; this is a common problem in elliptical
trainers. Over time, parts of the
machine may start to squeak. I am going
to attach a how-to guide that will explain what to do when this happens.

Treadmills have a moving belt while elliptical trainers have two foot pedals guiding movement - making it more controlled and safer. Elliptical trainers also have handles, in which the user has the option to move their arms in opposition to their legs to better control movement.
