Question about LG VENUS Cellular Phone

1 Answer

No one can hear me

When someone calls me or I call them, I can hear them just fine, but they cannot hear me. I have rebooted, taken out the battery, tried several options from the menu. Nothing seems to work. Do you know what the problem could be, or do I need to take it into a dealer?

Hello kpbmw

Based on the information provided it sound like the microphone has malfunctioned and these microphones can be replaced.
If the phone is less than a year old, it was purchased by you from the provider and it is in the exact condition is was when purchased you should attempt a warranty claim through your cell phone provider.

Can you recall an incident that occurred to cause the device to begin to malfunction?. ie Dropped, exposed to liquid? If so, you can visit this recommended repair center for an out of pocket solution.

My phone rings but I can't hear anyone and they can't hear me. What happened?

Samsung Galaxy S4: Rings but caller/receiver can't hear:

Question: Was this phone paired with a Bluetooth device like a headset or to a car? It may be stuck to that..

In any case, try holding down the power button, select reset or power off, let the phone reboot. Then try calling someone or have someone call you to test. It should work..

If not, by default Google's "OK Google" voice search maybe the culprit. Try turning it off and see if that works..

"From the home screen, hold down the menu button which should go into Google Now. Click on menu button again and select settings. Select "VOICE." Then select "Ok Google" detection. Once there, switch off the option "From any Screen." Once that is turned off. Restart phone"

If this does not work for you, try calling your Cellular Service Provider and ask them to reset the connection on their side to your phone.,. While they do that, they may ask you to power off your phone, take out the battery, take out the SIM card, wait for at least 30 seconds before re-inserting your SIM card and battery, and then powering the phone back on

I could hear him, he could not hear me unless I use my bluetooth

Try calling someone else, if that is the same then your handsets Microphone is damaged, if this is the case then change the Mic and all should be fine. If the phone is still under warranty its best to get it done for free under the warranty.

Speaker phone issue. The speaker phone needs to be replaced. The rebooting issue could possibly be fixed by doing a hard reset on device.
