Over useing my data I have limited data how to stop going over

PC. Close programs that go out to the internet and pull in information while running in the background. Try to limit what you download. Movies and music are the biggest waste of data. Emails and pictures don't take too much up. You can also unplug your computer from the internet while not in use so you know 100% that it isn't on the internet.

If you are more tech savvy, you can go into your router and see if there is a data quota you can set per month so you won't go over.

Internet Explorer is not working. What I can do to get it back. I try different thing to get it back, but it was imposible. My son was plaing and delate internet explorer.

To reset Internet Explorer settings
  1. Close any Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer windows that are currently open.

  2. ?id=microsoft.windows.resources.shellexecutetopiciconClick to open Internet Explorer.

  3. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.

  4. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Reset.

  5. Select the Delete personal settings check box if you would like to remove browsing history, search providers, Accelerators, home pages, and InPrivate Filtering data.

  6. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, click Reset.

  7. When Internet Explorer finishes restoring the settings, click Close, and then click OK.

  8. Close Internet Explorer.

Your changes will take effect the next time you open Internet Explorer.

Notes
  • If you close all visible windows, but still get an error message when trying to reset, you might have programs running that are not visible. Restart Windows, open Internet Explorer, and try resetting again.

  • To back up your home page or home page set before resetting Internet Explorer defaults, see Back up your home page or home page tabs.

  • If any of the categories fail to reset, it is because Internet Explorer could not access a file or registry setting. This can be caused by insufficient security privileges, files or settings being used by another program, or low memory or high CPU usage. You can either continue to use Internet Explorer without restoring these settings, or restart your computer and try to reset again.

  • If you are using Internet Explorer on a server and have turned off Enhanced Security Configuration or hardening (stronger security settings for use on servers), reset will go to client-level security. You must reinstall hardening if you want the increased security level. For more information on Enhanced Security Configuration, see Enhanced Security Configuration for Internet Explorer online.

  • To re-enable add-ons, see Internet Explorer add-ons: frequently asked questions.

If the machine is a Dell with DellControlPoint, open start, run then type msconfig and hit enter. Choose the Startup tab and find the startup item named "Dell" with the Command from "C:\Program Files\Dell\Dell Control Point\Connection Manager\Dell.UCM.exe" and uncheck the box. Hit Ok, then reboot your computer.

Problem with computer

Hi. I'm Azrul from Malaysia. Your windows installation might be corrupted and the system files might have been modified by a virus. Here is a possible solution for you:

Insert your Windows XP Setup disk in the CD rom drive. Set your boot priority to the cd rom. Wait for the option to repair your Windows XP installation. Do not format or reinstall. Just repair.

I can't seeem to search the internet. When I try to search it closed the program. It says something data executive management. I read a bit about it basically it shuts the program when it detects something...

Actually he is wrong the problem is a Virus or Spyware or similar bugs that you must;ve gotten through the Internet. I strongly recommend scanning your pc and getting them removed.

When I had this before my only solution was to wipe my pc and start over as the DEP or Data Execution Protection stopped most of my programs.

Annoying I know but this is why I say Microsoft should not have put the DEP in vista or made it able to be Disabled.

I just looked up your PC. It's a nice one! Something has gone awry!
Can you bring it to a local PC vendor? They may have a flat rate for reinstalling operating systems and recovering data. You may have a virus or some spyware from something downloaded.
