Not as simple a solution as the other solution. I was going to click "I have the same problem" after spending hours cruising around.

As I started to type, I knocked the T10 (which had turned itself on by itself minutes before) onto the hardwood floor. It immediately went off. It has stayed off.

I turned it on, listened to a song and shut it off and it has not come back on.

I noted that the switch seems to "feel" different. It was kind of slithery before, very soft, whether going up to lock or down to go on or off. It now feels more crisp to me.

I wonder if the issue can just be a less than acceptable switch?

tnx

My YP-T10 sliding power switch feels looser. Sometimes when I turn it on the touchscreen buttons won't work as if it were on hold, and when it does work sometimes it turns of randomly if I don't put it on...

Hi, not a solution but that is exactly what is happening to my T10 as well. It just started working this way yesterday and I don't know how to fix it. When I want to change a song, I have to slide the power switch so that I'm nearly turning it off to change a song. As well as that, I can see the 'lock' symbol on my screen even when I don't put my T10 on hold. Someone please help?

MP3 Samsung YP-T10 playing songs too fast

Turn on your T10, click any song and touch the third button on the top row (button that is a box with two lines in the middle). then move down to play speed. Then make sure it is on 1.0. :D

The heat sensors in my yp-t10 don't work

Resetting the player to its factory settings (there's an option to do that in the settings section) should fix your problem. Unfortunately, you will have to re-sync all media on the player, as the reset will delete all data. if this doesn't fix it, i would recommend a call to the manufacturer or a trip to the store where you bought the player.

What do i do??

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

Hi my yp-t10 2GB can't be switched on

There is one last ditch method, but this is most likely a hardware issue that cannot be resolved without replacement:
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
