did you have installed any CD Burning Tool (like a NERO,aShampo,Alcohol 120%,etc) ? if you don't have yet, install it into your PC. but if you have ones, check the option or setting your Burning tools.choose "auto play if CD/DVD blank inserted".
when you are about to start the burning seccion. pay close attention to the speed you're using to burn your cd... try to lower it to the minimum, this should garanteed a better job (it may a bit take longer but you may save that in frustration).
also look for a kit the clean your cd burner... I think I've seen those at walmart here in canada.
Greetings, Your dvd drive is not capable of burning a dual layer disc. You need to have a burner that is capable of sending the laser through to the second layer of the disc. That said you can get a DL burner for around 30 dollars. Click HERE to see one from Newegg.com. I am not sure what you mean by 'burns, flip, burn dvds.' but if you make another comment I will respond. Take Care, -WN
Some Cds (or individual songs) are Copyrighted, so they will not burn to new CD.
Make sure you're using CD. W. and not CD. R.W. as the latter will only play in your computer CD player. Where as the former will play in your car or home player.
