We had the same problem with our Zanussi dishwasher and it turned to be not the heating element but something wrong with a part of the circuit board, a memory part that tells the machine to heat the water. It was fixed very quickly. We had almost invested in a new heating element!!

Not familiar with model. element can be inside cabinet in which case it will be obvious or may be in a cylinder heater mounted in the base. suspect stats as well or possibly the module

Water doesn't heat up and cycle seems to be stuck, candy DFI 45

What is a Candy brand dishwasher? Made in the UK? That is not a manufacturer I have ever heard of here in the US.
What do you mean, 'doesn't seem to heat up any sense?'
If the dishwasher is older than 5 years, write it off to age a buy a new, high quality machine. Or do the dishes by hand.
Machines get old and die. If you are UK native, don't buy anothre Candy.

My Candy DFI Plan shows E3 and stops washing after 10-15 minutes. The problems started because electronics( I swithed with new) than I change the water pump, the heater, the thermostats and when is on,...

E3 - Water heating time out or fault

The dishwasher has failed to heat with water in a reasonable time or has failed to detect the water heating element.

Check water heating element wiring

Actually every dishwasher I've worked on had one water inlet and it was always for hot water. Approximately 3 gallons per cycle.

My Bosch Dishwasher is not drying my dishes now. The model number is SHE44C05UC.

Hi there,

Unfortunately, it seems that the heating element has failed. The dishwasher uses steam to heat the tub to dry the dishes. I suspect your dishes are also being washed in cold water.

To check this, please run a regular full wash cycle. Allow the washer to fill with water and run for about 10 minutes, then open the door and feel the water temperature in the bottom of the washer. If the water is cold, it's more than likely the heating element has failed.

There are other possible faults which would cause the element not to heat, but these often prevent the dishwasher from completing the cycle. If the water is cold but the dishwasher still drains the water at the end - and completes the cycle - the heating element has probably failed.

Please try this simple test for water temperature and let me know if you need further assistance.

Regards,
BElectric

Dishwasher won't dry.

run it and open it after the drying cycle right away. what you should be looking for is heat. you will see a metal rod going around the bottom of the dishwasher in a square shape either that has stopped working or the circuit shorted out some where, people don't usually know this but dishwashers use only cold water they use that element to heat the water.
good luck

Model 587.14134102 dishwasher is not cleaning well. Unpon checking it by opening it up during various cycles the water does not seem hot enough. The dishes are warm to the touch but not hot. How can I...

Does your machine take in hot or cold water. If it takes in hot water the element that heats and maintains the heat may be defective. If it takes in cold water the element is heating it but the thermostat is cutting out the element at too low a temperature. Normally dishwashers take in cold water and heat it to the required temperature, which would mean that the thermostat is faulty?
