I have a Kitchen Aid dishwasher about 6 years old and the drying feature of the unit quit working. Any ideas of the problem?
For what it's worth...model number KUDM01TJBS0
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Catriver. I'm planning to check it out soon. I'm in charge of washing dishes until I fix it, I'm not waiting too long.
Thanks again!

Catriver:
What should the high limit thermostat read? I checked it with the ohm meter and it reads high and goes to zero or a neg number and stops. Does this mean that it's okay?
The heating element reads very high numbers, much higher than the 11 to 31 ohms. I set the meter on 2M and it rises slowly and then reads "OL".
Not sure what the "wax" motor is. Need more advice on this. I'm obviously a novice in this area, any help would be great.
Tom, three things you want to check. 1. the heating element. Remove the leads from the element and ohm it out. Should read between 11 and 31 ohms. 2. Check the high limit thermostat. This sits right behind the drain pump on the right and inserts into the tub housing. Remove the leads and check for continuity. 3. The vent wax motor is inoperable. Check for continuity on the wax motor terminals. You can also put the dishwasher into a service mode to check the operation. In this sequence press high temp scub-energy saver dry-high temp scrub-energy saving dry. This will put it into a auto test mode. Let it do it's thing. One other thing Tom, that heater runs through the nuetral side of the door switch. Make sure that the door is closing properly, dishwasher level and the door switchs are being made properly. Catriver.
