Blank screen

This could be a number of things and more info is needed. Are there any lights on the laptop when it is plugged into the mains? Have you tried taking the battery out and plugging it into the mains and switching on?

When you switch it on does the screen brighten slightly? Does anything appear on the screen? If you angle the laptop in the light can you seen anything on the screen? If you plug the laptop into an external monitor and switch the laptop on do you get a picture?

Model 3221. Observed smoke out of the top of TV. Screen went blank, but sound and all other functions are fine. No sign of anything appearing burnt on inside circuit boards.

Where there is smoke be careful---something burned---If you cannot see it voltages will have to begin with be tested and it is possible it happened inside a place where it cannot be seen.

Look down in the area where the smoke was seen--a part or a wire or a plug even may have smoked.

My screen doesnt come on when i boot up my acer aspire 5535

shine a flashlight on the screen when you turn it on and look from different angles. see if you can see a very faint picture. if you can then the backlight has gone bad, and can be ordered on ebay for fairly cheap. if you can't see ANYTHING then more than likely either the graphics card has issues or the screen itself went bad. it's kind of rare for a screen to just go bad like that but i have seen it before.

My screen has gone white?

The display being white can be due to failure of the LCD or the CCD which is the optical sensor of the camera. So to confirm check the older picture to be seen on the display. Confirm this by checking the card on your PC. If the images/picture is seen to be of good quality, then the LCD can be faulty, fault on the linking cable or the control board.

However if the older images are seen well then the LCD is working correctly and the fault can be failure of the CCD- charge coupled device in the camera. If you have accidently exposed the camera directly to high intensity light / sunlight, then it is possible that it is damaged. Remove the battery and keep the camera aside to reset and try as a last resort. Get estimate before you decide. It will be good to have it checked at the authorised service as you do not have to run around for spares.

All of a sudden my camera display has gone off. i can not see anything on the camera screen but it can still take photos...

The LCD of your camera is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the pictures taken by the camera are seen after downloading on your PC then it is confirmed that the LCD is faulty.
You must remove the LCD panel to check the power to the LCD panel, check the flexible strip to the panel to confirm.
Take estimate of the cost and decide.

Black screen hear sounds no image

More information would be helpful. I've seen several things happen that cause this issue. The GPS is getting no power and has gone to "Sleep". The second most common is the screen has been pushed too hard. When this happens it will not show anything because you have damaged it. The last is the GPS has been left in the vehicle and got too hot or too cold literally frying or freezing the screen. It might be time to purchase a new replacement or seek warranty information on this.

Display not comimng up when switched on

Hello,

The screen cannot display anything, not even the charging display because the flex of the screen of your phone is faulty.

All you need to do is to replace the flex on the screen of your phone in order for the screen to display.

Take care.

C 80 screen has gone black, cant read infro, Bermuda

If you peer into the screen can you make out anything on it like as if the back lighting is bad? Also it may be set to night mode as well. You can try a factory reset. I have seen their screens go bad from time to time. If none of the above work. Send it in to Raymarine.
