Question about Whirlpool Dishwashers
I have a Whirlpool Quiet Partner 1 dishwasher...at the end of all cycles there is about 4 inches of dirty water pooling up in the bottom of the washer, no drainage...I removed the 'wheel' spinning part to see if there is anything clogging the drain, but can't remove anything more on th machine to see inside..on the front right part of the machine there seems to be a movable ,maybe height control senser??
Is there any way to run the cycle from the beginning and listen to hear if the machine is draining at all when the cycle starts do you hear the water spraying on the inside ? if not then you have several different possibilities....clogged drain line, pump impeller broken(sounds like running but no action), water just flowing back to washer the last one's an easy fix just loop the excess drain hose up like a reverse "p" trap on a kitchen sink drain this keeps the water from flowing back to the machine
