Hi,

I'm gonna presume you are running Vista and the problem occurred following your last update.

This is a fix that MAY work... Give it a try.

Start, Accessories, Run

Enter "regedit" and hit enter

Now look into:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office 12.0\Word
Find the "Data" folder and rename it to "Old-Data"
Start Word again and the problem should be fixed.

Always be very careful when editing the registry though. In fact I would recommend that the first thing you do when in the registry editor is to click 'File' and select 'Export'. This will take a backup of your current registry settings.

Hope this helps.

Andy

When you have overlapped two images how to gather them as a total picture in Word 2007 so you can move them at once.

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!
If I'm, not wrong you want to move/drag or want to apply something to 2 pictures at once.
To do so, first click on the 1st picture when its selected press and hold the Crtl key and move the cursor to some visible portion of the 2nd picture (better move the cursor over the border of the 2nd picture) you will see a change in mouse pointer, just at that moment click once again. You will see both the pictures selected now you can release the Ctrl key, and can drag or do anything you like.
I hope you will have a clearer picture now.
If you have any Confusion, questions or issues regarding your problem do tell me.

Click on Start button. Click on the program button in the box which opens. You will see a list of program which have been loaded in your computer. Scroll through and place the cursor on Microsoft Office. Another box will open and show the Office programs e.g. MS Word, MS Excel and MS power point. You can click one by one on these and the the programs will open.

Have MS Office 2007 but want MS Office 2003 toolbars

well. in this case the new look it the most problematic issue for any user taht previwsly had office xp, office 2003. you can't change the apparience. just the colors. if at least you want to use your favorite color. this is how !

You can customize the appearance of the Office Fluent Ribbon in Microsoft Office Access 2007, Microsoft Office Excel 2007, Microsoft Office Outlook 2007, Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007, or Microsoft Office Word 2007 by selecting one of the available color schemes.

example
Word
  1. Click the Microsoft Office Buttondefault.aspx?assetid=za100771021033, and then click Word Options at the bottom of the window.
  2. Click Popular, and then click the Color scheme that you want.

Why not upgrade Office to 2003 version....?

It's better to upgrade Office version 2003 or 2007 to prevent compatibility issues

Couple of suggestions:

1) try holding the ctrl key and rolling the mouse wheel down.
2) open the message in it's own window, click Other Actions, select zoom from the menu, choose desired zoom level and click ok
3) If using a previous version of MS word, change outlook from using word as your email editor to outlook as the email editor (TOOLS | OPTIONS | MAIL FORMAT tab)

How to enter same item in the same invoice?

Hello!
If you highlight the section with your mouse (left button hold and drag across) the information you want repeated, then press CTRL+C (control C = copy), when you get to the next area you want that information, move the cursor there, either by tabs or mouse, and press CTRL+V (control V=paste).  That will allow you to copy and paste information that is used over and over.  It will work with most programs running under Windows (and Linux too!)
Hope this helps you out!
