Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initially, to my knowledge, there could be a number of reasons your handheld mixer would stop working. Among them are:

  • open thermal fuse (most likely);
  • worn carbon brushes (most likely);
  • defective switch (likely);
  • open winding (hopefully not).
Most warranties would be for a year from date of purchase. If considering the services of qualified professional, the repair cost may no longer justify the repair itself. Another option to consider is DIY (do-it-yourself). Should you venture into trying a repairs by yourself, pls postback. This would require some basic tools, a continuity tester and lots of patience.

Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa. Happy Holidays.

If you have the warranty card read on it how much warranty is still left with the unit.and also if its due to any physical damage that your unit has gone stopped it will not be covered underwarranty if still the warranty period is remaining.as the physical damage is not covered under warranty.but if its due to any other reason then do not worry it weill be replaced.
thanks.

    I did not find any online page for Cook's Essentials warranty validation, but many forums say that there is one year warranty, when it is like that you need to contact the seller to validate the warranty.

    I confirm, there is one year of warranty and free replacement, they will replace with a new one or repair it under warranty.

    You need to call QVC : What are QVC's phone numbers?

    Give them a call and ask a replacement.
