Question about Cell Phones

Bluetooth I have tried to conect to my old razr to pull off my ringtones and it would not connect. I thought it was a compatability problem but then i tried to connect to other phones and several different computers and it will recognize the phone but will not connect.

Sorry to say but your ringtones are propriatary to that phone.  There is a way to get them off but it would be useless unless you intend to use that phone for them again as the only phone they will play on is the old phone

before you try to send him ringtones. under the connections menu turn both bluetooths on. at the same time on your husbands phone push the find me icon and on your phone push add new devices. yours should pick it up.

What are you trying to send? Picture, video, ringtone, app?
For a ringtone, go to the Media Finder, select ringtones, then "All Ringtones" and scroll to the one you want to send. Hit "options" and scroll to the option "Send"
Select "Send" and one option should be "send Via Bluetooth"

The process should be similar for other sendable items.

I am unable to send music or pictures via bluetooth. I can receive when other people send me transfer through my bluetooth. What must I do.

what you can do is install the MPT software that came with the phone on to to pc.....then use the old motorola with blank screen and connect it to the pc via the usb cable....once the pc see the phone then located the ringtones folder and copy them to the pc then do the same process with the new phone and then copy the ringtones into the phone folder.

try turning on both of your bluetooth and set it in a disoverable mode and shown to everybody mayb one of the phone is in hidden mode. if everything is set just send and data you want to transfer to your phone and the bluetooth automatically searches active devices... if it cant find any device the probably both phones are not compatible especially of different make...

to send ringtones using multi-media message, you need to check with your carrier/srvice provider if they support this feature on your phone. if you are trying to send using bluetooth, power off your phone and take out the battery for few seconds put the battery back in, power on and try sending. if does not work, reset the phone to its original manufacturer setting.
