Question about Acer Aspire™ T180 PC Desktop
I've famat my computer marque ACER after the instolation of window xp I find out that my computer doesn't produce sound anymore.
Ensure the cables to your speakers are in the correct plugs (green for speaker, pink for microphone on most modern pc's). Ensure your sound system is powered and set to ON.
You will need to be logged on as an Administrator for this step.
Right-click My Computer on your desktop and select Manage; select Device Manager or Hardware - there may be a red mark or yellow ? on "Sound, video and game controllers". It should state what your sound device is - go to that device's website for the most recent device drivers. If there is no device listed or it's not identified, you can consult the pc documentation, contact the manufacturer, or open your pc and look for a name or number on the sound card itself (it can be identified by the audio connectors on the back of the pc. This will not work if your sound solution is on-board, meaning a chip on the mainboard rather than a seperate card. On-board sound drivers are available from the pc manufacturer.
