SOURCE: when you turn on key

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!

Well, that could be due to multiple reasons, you need to double check each possibility one by one to rectify the problem.
Make sure that the charger is working properly and the batteries are properly charged and aren't showing fake charging. The battery(ies) are capable of storing charge efficiently.
Also do make sure, that the gears mechanism that converts electrical to rotational mechanical energy are working properly, and there is no obstacle in there movement nor the braking mechanism is blocking the movement.

Hope, now you get a wider picture on how to tackle with the scenario. Kindly do perform the general test and do let me know, what you found. Hoping to hear from you soon.

Have a nice day,
Concerned.

Are you comfortable working on the electronic cable / connector?

=====

Check the temperature charger's by hand. It should be warm to the touch when power on.

Since you has the unit plug in for days,it should be warm to the touch.

You will need to has a volt meter to check the voltage output on PIN 1 and 2.

=====

Remove the power cord from the outlet.

Inspect the 3 small pins on the XLR (ROUND connector) to the scooter.

Make sure the 3 pins are not damage.

Open the metal 3 pins connector by sliding it back on the cord.

Check for loose connection on the solder tabs.

There should be total of 3 solid solder connections these tabs.

Close up the connector.

======

Check the connect on the scooter end.

The 3 pins must be clean and able to make the connection.

======

Please post more information and result on reply.

Invacare HMV 220 3 wheel scooter. Good battery, Why won't it go?

hi, the clicking sounds like the brake and if that's the case your throttle pot etc is working okay. check the connections from the controller to the motor, putting 12v on the motor does not prove it's okay resistance wise for the controller, it looking for about 0.2 to 1.5 ohms...

if that all proves okay then i look at the controller ...what is the name of the mobility scooter ?

Regards
Rob

My golden companion 2 Gc 321 goes forward when i push reverse and goes reverse when i push forward

Sounds like the motor cables are in reverse at the controller. Check that the red is in the positive and the black wire is in the negative on the controller.

Scooter won't move when forward/reverse engaged.

From:

Engage the freewheel lever
- allows you to operate the mobility equipment with the standard controls.
Disengage the freewheel lever - This unlocks the unit and allows the wheels to spin freely. You can easy push the equipment without power. This is especially helpful if you run out of battery power and need assistance.

Scooter won't move

Things to check: Drive/Free wheeling switch, brake release lever (this activates an internal micro-switch that enable power to the drive system, battery box connectors (condition of contacts - corroded, missing, loose. etc.); main control cable (corrosion. lose or missing pins, etc). If all these are OK, could be controller or drive control potentiometers (speed, forward, backward) on the handle-bar (tiller).
Good luck!

Electric scooter no power to motor

Sounds like the surface of the relay needs to be cleaned. Doesn't let enough juice through the connection to keep the contact. Might even just need a new relay. Or "Curtis Module."

Rascal scooter no forward or reverse or seat rise

Does the scooter have any power to it at all? Have you recently charged the batteries? If the scooter has been sitting unused for a while the batteries may not take a full charge and need to be replaced. If the batteries are good, check the fuses and all of the battery connections to ensure nothing has come lose. Sounds like a power issue.
Good luck!
