Dishwasher stuck on "drain"

my neff 5543 fitted dishwasher has stuck on drain. The pump will not stop running, even if I open the door, or re-set the programme. The only way to stop the pump is to turn the whole thing off.

Any ideas what's wrong? Is it easy to fix?

not easy to fix - it has a leak. the tray at the base is full of water which ooperates a float which switches drain pump on. remove front panel at bottom front and mop out water or tilt backwards 45deg and water will run out. leak is usually main pump
