Problem for Adobe InDesign CS2

adobe was NO help. i had same problem after I tried to re-install In Design on my laptop after it crashed, i called tech support, they said they no longer support CS2 and basically I was on my own. Thanks Adobe! the price you cahrge for software and you're tech support who barely speaks english doesnt do anything, what would I do without you?

- my problem was I originally installed the CS2 package on my old laptop, that computer died so I got a new one and installed it on there, when I stared having problems with the new one I uninstalled everything on it. When I went to re-install CS2 again, all the programs installed and worked fine except InDesign. Whenever I go to open it it brings up a dialog box prompting me to enter the serial number, I copy it straight form the box and it still says its invalid, when I called Adobe tech support they said they no longer support CS2 and basically I was on my own.Does that help?

OK, but what is your problem, that does not include Adobe Tech Support (or the lack thereof) ??

I had the same thing happen to me on my laptop the harddrive died and I had to reinstall the CS software again, download the CS to CS2 compatability patch from Adobe, InDesign has several others run them and then restart it should work the link to the wWindows download area is: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=31&platform=Windows sorry I didn't ask if you were using Mac - I do both so I'll usually ask or cross reference.
