disassembled the thisng. didn't realise i could replace the guard by just undoing the bolt to release the guard .now when i put it all back together as the diagram in the manual suggests, it is catching on something and not working right.

there is a bar that is supposed to catch on the guard and push it up when you push the saw down and i think this is the problem. it is bent? is is supposed to be??? thanks

Did you take it off in one piece or completely disassemble?

SOURCE: Table Saw blade

Did you remove the center plate? It has to come out before you can remove the blade. Also make sure that the saw is unplugged before you go any further. If you still have questions contact me and I will do what I can. Also if you would like you can download a schematic of this tool at just type in your model and look at the schematic. Good luck

Not sure about the Delta. I've had both a Craftsman and a Dewalt. On both of those, the pivoting plastic guard pivots on a plate on the side of the metal guard. The plate isnt easy to see. You rotate the plastic guard all the way open and you see the edge of the plate held in place by a screw. Remove the screw and the plastic guard and the hub along with the plate it's mounted on can lift up an half inch or so--far enough to get the blade screw off the arbor.
There's a push button somewhere that locks the blade from turning so you can turn the screw in the center of the arbor with a wrench.

How do i change a 10 inch blade on my table saw

Howdy, Start by unplugging the machine (mandatory safety nag, sorry) then jam a nice piece of 2 x 4 in the teeth of the blade and remove the red blade surround plate. Use the blade wrench or crescent to loosten the side nut by turning towards the point of the teeth on blade. Remember the order of any washers as you remove, and replace in reverse after adding new blade ,being careful to orient the blades in the same direction as the original. Make sure all is snugly tightened and replace all guards to finish. Ta da!

I hope this gets you quickly back to making sawdust:)

When I pull down on the handle to make a cut the handle binds as if the spring may be weak or something. If the blade guide does not return fully there is no problem. Can you help me with what info I have...

We had a problem with our saw not working right, we found out the guard went down to far and locked it self, we took a wire tie and put it around where the guard hits and it worked fine, you should be able to do something like that. Check it out.

Concept MS100 mitre saw blade guard dillema.

I have changed the blade a few times, There is no need to remove the spring, etc. All you do is remove the bolt holding the guard and rotate it counter clockwise and it exposes the blade.
I am looking for parts for this saw. Anyone know where to get them?

The blade gaurd doesn't slide out of the way when handle is lower

You may have to change the link rod. That is the black arm that pulls the blade guard up. Over time they will bend just enough to not open the guard all the way.

Hope this help

I purchased the Bosch saw blade on Ebay

If the arbors the same and you're running with in the RPM rating, it will be fine. But ALWAYS wear your safety glasses.

Change blade

OK first raise the cutting head. Loosen the screw that holds the guard in place and move out of the way. Find the spindle lock on the right hand side of the gearcase and turn blade by hand (UNPLUG SAW FIRST) until it locks. With the wrench supplied with saw put it on the blade bolt and turn it clockwise to loosen, it has left hand threads, remove outer flange and blade. Let me know it you need any more help
