I think R39 is the jumper for the cpu speed...but try to check in the motherboard manual because it is dangerous if you make mistake for changing jumper with mistake,it can damage the board

There is a processor installed that the BIOS cannot recognize. Update the BIOS in the motherboard.

Also make sure the CPU is in the CPU support list, on the same page. If it is not a supprted CPU, you will get that error.

I bought a used dsbv-d duel socket 771 motherboard.i can not get the power switch hooked up I do not know what 2 pins to connect it to.can you tell me from front to back what 2 pins to put the little...


in the front panel you will see a blank pin the next to the blank pin is the power switch or if you have a multi tester the pin showing voltage is the power switch the nearby will be 0v connect the pin to the 5v and the 0v

What is the best available compatible chip for ASUS A8V-E SE?


Go to the Asus website. www.asus.com. Click on the support link. Lookup your specific motherboard model #. Once you have located this there will be a menu in the left hand side that will say cpu support. Click on this & it will list all cpu's that are compatible with your board and what bios version you would need to run with each cpu. Hope this helps.

What problem is it that you are having?

Hi, your motherboard type dont show up on google, but its the same as the CPU, if the cpu is skt A then heatsink & fan will be for a SKT A. Same scenario if its ,775,754,939,478 etc

remove the processor and ram from the mother board. now connect the smps to the motherboard and on the motherboard. if the problem persists again then u have the problem with the motherboard. if the board gets on then insert the cpu and on the board if this dosent work then their is problem with the cpu. this applies to all the motherboards
