The laptop is short on memories or short on hard drive space.
trun off the laptop.
unplug the AC and remove the battery.
press and hold the power button for 30 sec.
reinstall the battery and plug in the AC.
turn on the laptop.
go to start>>programs>>accessories>>system tools>>disk cleaner.
delete all of the junk and unwanted files.
go to control panel>>display>>screen saver
select a different screen save or use WIndows screen saver.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Compaq evo n610c no sound

Hi John,

Have you tried clicking on the Icon?

By doing so, you will bring up the volume control, then you adjust it by dragging the slider with your mouse to to desired level.

I hope this helps solve your query.

Cheers,
Peter

Hello we have a problem with our laptop the battery charging icon will not appear so we don't if it's plugged in, not charging, Charhing or Not charging?

On Windows Vista/7:
Right-click the taskbar and select "Properties." The list of system icons in the "Notification Area" tab includes the power icon. Check the box next to it to enable this icon in the taskbar.
On Windows XP:
Right-click a blank area on the Desktop and select "Properties." Go to Screen Saver and click on Energy. In Advanced Option you could check the checkbox so the icon will re-appear in the task bar.

Best regards,
Pelu.

Modil Evo N620c sound is not coming

I take it you mean you have installed XP. Have you also installed the drivers for your laptop? To check if any drivers are needed do the following

Right click My Computer (if it's not on your screen click start first)
Select properties/Hardware/device manager. Anything with a questiion mark next to it needs drivers installed.

If you don't have a drivers disk you'll have to download them from the manufacturers site.

No monitor n620c loptop

To switch between monitor modes (internal/external) you have to press the key combination Fn+F4 (or F8) or the F key with a dual monitor icon printed on it. This happens when you use the laptop with an external monitor or projector, and you forget to return to the internal monitor mode.

Compaq n620c evo laptop

Check your floppy drive and see if there's a disk in it and remove it. If there is no diskette in the floppy drive and you are still getting the error. You can go into the Bios and turn off the "boot from floppy drive", that way it will not look for the floppy drive when booting up. Hope this helps.
