I have barely any space for a wine cooler and need a narrow fridge. Can anyone recommend a narrow cooling fridge for me - preferably something thermoelectric?

Without knowing the amount of space you have to put the cooler, it is difficult to find you one that will fit. What I did though was find a great site with a few brands of slim wine coolers. Look through and maybe they will have something for you.

Beeping will not stop on wine cooler - red wine side

Beeping usually indicates that something has gone wrong. Probably not cooling properly. The water coming out would indicate that the unit has defrosted. Turn the unit back on again and see if the red side is cooling properly. Some wine fridges have independent evaporators which allows different cooling temps in different parts of the cabinet.

What is a single zone wine cooler?

Single zone wine coolers have one temperature control and the storage space is undivided so the whole cooler is at the same temperature.

I live in a small apartment in New York City and don't have a lot of space for a wine cooler. Can anyone suggest a good cooling system for my situation?

You should get a countertop cooling fridge. They are very compact, about the same size as a microwave oven, and can hold up to 20 bottles of wine.

Do I need a wine cooler to store my wines or can I store them in a normal refrigerator?

The purpose of a wine cooler is to store wines at their proper temperatures in a proper manner. Wine coolers are set to higher temperature ranges than other systems simply because wine should not be kept as cool as other beverages.

What kind of cooler should I get if I plan on storing both red and white wines in the same fridge?

You need a dual zone wine cooler. They have two temperature controls and the storage space is divided in such a way that each temperature control has its own section inside the cooler; allowing you to store both red and white wines properly.

What is a thermoelectric wine cooling system?

Thermoelectric cooling is best used in small wine coolers. Small fans from inside the cooling fridge evenly dispense cool temperatures throughout the interior of the unit.

Vinotemp VT-16TEDS has light on but doesn't cool

First check the grating over the fan in the back. If it is covered with dust, there won't be enough air flow and the unit won't cool. Clean the dust off and see if it cools back down. It may take a long time to cool down if it is full of wine, so I recommend taking the wine out to test if it works.
